The Innovation Lab is now open for a supervised practice session after regular classes, three afternoons each week. The extra time is offered at no additional cost.
How the sessions work
Practice time is open rather than taught. Children bring unfinished lab work or start something of their own, and a lab assistant is present throughout. There is no set curriculum and nothing is assessed.
- Open to pupils in Class 3 and above.
- Three afternoons per week, immediately after the school day.
- Places are limited by the number of machines available.
- Children must be collected promptly at the end of the session.
Signing up
Places are allocated per term. A note from a parent or guardian is enough to be added to the list, and we will confirm the specific afternoons your child is assigned.
The best projects we have seen were not started in class. They were finished after it.
