The winter uniform guidelines for this session have been released. They are deliberately simple, and everything on the list can be purchased locally.
What children need
- A navy sweater or cardigan, worn over the regular uniform.
- A warm scarf in plain school colours — no other designs.
- Closed shoes suitable for cold mornings.
- Pupils in Class 3 and above may add a simple navy cap.
What is not required
There is no separate winter set to buy and no branded outerwear. Any plain navy layer of the right warmth is acceptable. We would rather a child be warm in something unbranded than cold in something official.
When it starts
Winter uniform is worn from the start of the cold season and remains in use until we notify families otherwise. On unusually warm days, common sense applies: sweaters may be left at home.
